Al-Azhar Grand Imam, Prof. Ahmad At-Tayyeb, received Dr. Muhammad Mukhtar Jumaa, Minister of Religious Endowments (Awqaf) who visited the Grand Imam to check on his health.

Dr. Jumaa congratulated the Grand Imam on his return to the homeland, calling for His Eminence’s continuous health and wellness, after a medical trip in Germany and France. During this visit, the Grand Imam of Al-Azhar had some medical examinations related to the spine and completed physical therapy according to the advice of the relevant physicians, in addition to His Eminence’s undergoing an eye surgery.
