His Eminence the Grand Imam of Al-Azhar, Prof. Ahmad At-Tayyeb extended his sincere greetings to HE President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, the Ministry of Interior’s staff, leaders individuals, and the Egyptian people on the Police Day and the anniversary of January 25 Revolution. 

In this context, Al-Azhar Ash-Sharif fully appreciates the role played by policemen in protecting the homeland and the citizens, expressing sincere greetings and appreciation to our valiant young Egyptian martyrs and brave policemen who made great, heroic sacrifices so that Egypt may enjoy safety and security. He also supplicated to Allah, the Almighty, to shower the martyrs with mercy and forgiveness, to protect Egypt and its people from harm, and to bless us all with goodness, security, stability and peace.
