Al-Azhar Al-Sharif: The Armed Forces proved in the glorious war of October their ability to deter aggressors, restore rights, and shatter illusions and myths

 

His Eminence the Grand Imam of Al-Azhar Al-Sharif, Prof. Ahmad al-Tayyeb, extended his sincere congratulations to President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, President of Egypt, to our valiant Armed Forces, and to the great people of Egypt, on the 51st anniversary of the glorious October War victories, which embodied the greatest meanings of sacrifice and perseverance, and raised the banners of national pride and dignity.

 

Al-Azhar affirms that this historic victory over the occupying enemy was written with the blood of the righteous martyrs, and with the will of an army and a people who do not know submission. It was truly a turning point in the path of our beloved Egypt, and a witness to the strength of faith in Allah and trust in Him to restore the nation’s capabilities, and the sincerity of loyalty to this noble land. The Egyptian armed forces have proven on this glorious day that Egypt, with its loyal people, is capable of deterring aggressors and restoring its rights, shattering illusions and myths, and that it has honest men who are true to their words and fulfill their promises.

 

 

On this occasion, Al-Azhar Al-Sharif never ceases to praise the great role played by the Armed Forces and the noble Egyptian people who sacrificed their children for the sake of Egypt. Al-Azhar prays to Allah to protect Egypt, to perpetuate its security and stability, to grant it progress and prosperity, and to protect the Arab and Muslim countries from all harm and evil.
