His Eminence the Grand Imam of Al-Azhar Al-Sharif and Chairman of the Muslim Council of Elders, Prof. Ahmad Al-Tayyeb extended his sincere congratulations to President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, President of Egypt, Supreme Commander of the Egyptian Armed Forces, its leadership, officers, and soldiers, and the Egyptian people, on the anniversary of the liberation of Sinai.

Al-Azhar affirms that the anniversary of the liberation of Sinai will remain precious to all Egyptians, as it represents a historic epic of courage, determination, will, and resolve not to relinquish any part of our beloved homeland. Al-Azhar affirms that Egyptians will never forget the sacrifices made by our valiant soldiers, both in defense of their homeland and in the pursuit of security and safety for its people.

On this occasion, Al-Azhar calls on the Egyptian people to invest in these occasions to be an incentive to continue working to build the future of our dear country, calling on Allah Almighty to bless our beloved Egypt with security, safety, peace, stability and prosperity, and to protect it from all harm and evil.
