Dr. Tony Tan, President of Singapore, is visiting the Grand Imam, Prof. Ahmad At-Tayyeb, at the Headquarters of Al-Azhar, to discuss cooperation between Al-Azhar Ash-Sharif and the Republic of Singapore. The Grand Imam is scheduled to discuss with the Singaporean President maximizing cooperation between Al-Azhar and Singapore in academic fields and increasing the number of Al-Azhar scholarships for Singaporean students at different educational stages.
