The Grand Imam asks Muslims to pray for their Palestinian brothers during these blessed days.

His Eminence the Grand Imam of Al-Azhar Al-Sharif, Prof. Ahmad Al-Tayyeb, extends his sincere congratulations and best wishes to President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, the kings, presidents and princes, and to the peoples of the Islamic and Arab nations, on the holy month of Ramadan. He prays to Allah Almighty to bring Ramadan back to all Muslims with goodness, blessings, progress and stability.

The Grand Imam calls on Muslims around the world to unite and strengthen the bonds of Islamic brotherhood, not to forget their Palestinian brothers and sisters, and to make it their nightly ritual to pray for them during prayer in these blessed days. He asked Allah to grant them victory over their enemies, to keep them steadfast in their homelands with their families, and to protect them from the unjust displacement schemes that do not value land and do not understand the meaning of belonging to one's homeland. "May you have a blessed year," prayed the Grand Imam.
