His Eminence the Grand Imam of Al-Azhar Al-Sharif and Chairman of the Muslim Council of Elders, Prof. Ahmad Al-Tayyeb, received a phone call from His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the United Arab Emirates, to inquire about his health. His Eminence prayed to Allah Almighty for his recovery and to bestow upon him the blessings of health and wellness. His Highness also exchanged greetings with the Grand Imam of Al-Azhar on the upcoming Eid Al-Fitr.

During the call, His Eminence the Grand Imam expressed his appreciation for the call from His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed, his noble character, and his unsurprising authenticity. He also expressed his appreciation for His Highness's efforts to spread the values of peace, brotherhood, and coexistence. He prayed to Allah Almighty to grant the UAE, its people, and all Arab and Islamic peoples continued security, stability, and prosperity.
